- DOWNLOAD / DISTRIBUTE THE SUPPORTERS LIST TO PLAYERS AND ANNOUNCE THE REQUIRED "TEAM MEETING".
- BE SURE EVERY PLAYER IS PRESENT FOR YOUR REQUIRED "TEAM MEETING"
- BE SURE THAT EVERY PLAYER HAS THEIR SUPPORTERS LIST FILLED OUT WITH 20+ QUALITY CONTACTS (W/EMAIL)
Welcome Call / Pre-Fundraiser Call
Schedule a pre-fundraiser call with your rep prior to scheduling your fundraiser. During the call, we will review what worked and what might need to be adjusted from your most recent fundraising experiences. A successful fundraising campaign doesn't happen because of a website, a catalog or a product. A successful campaign happens because students ASKED a lot of people to become a supporter of their team or program. Our role is to help you make the asking easier and to help you encourage your students to ask EVERYONE that they know to become a supporter of your program. The way we do this is with the Supporters List which you will distribute at the soft launch.
Approval on campus
After the pre-fundraiser call, make sure that the fundraiser is approved by the school admin and that make photocopies of the supporters list. Be sure to add the campaign ID before you make the copies. It's not a bad idea to include a letter to the parents on the back of the supporters list. You can also ask business owners to purchase a digital banner that will be on the top of every campaign page. In the letter, share with the parents that you expect 100% participation. Be sure to include your campaign URL encouraging parents to register and start sharing the campaign link as well.
Soft Launch / Supporters List
WHEN: a few days prior to your required team meeting (campaign launch date).
The coaches that can communicate and insist that the players take the supporters list seriously will see stronger results. You should communicate that you expect students to provide 20+ quality supporters with EMAIL and they should be written down on the attached PDF. The best window for distributing the supporters list and holding the required team meeting is within 1-2 days of when you will post who made the team. When you talk with the team and hand out the supporters list and tell them that it must be retuned and completed at the upcoming team meeting (kickoff). Encourage the players to go ahead and get a head start on the campaign by downloading the InstaRaise mobile app, registering and entering contacts starting tonight. Challenge them to go ahead and start asking friends and family to become a supporter and see if they can raise $100 before the team meeting.
Required Team Meeting
The InstaRaise launch will occur at your required team meeting. The meeting should be withing a few days of them finding out that they have made the team. Please secure a space in the building that has a solid wifi signal as the players will be using their smart device to register, text and reach out to donors during the meeting. At the meeting the students will register for your campaign. Use the slide show below on this page to assist with the reigstration process.
How to login to your InstaRaise Sponsor Dashboard
Go to www.instaraise.com and type your email in where you see "sponsor login".
If you've forgotten your password, use the forgot password link.
Once you are logged in, you'll be able to see which players have signed up, how many active contacts they've entered AND how much they've raised.
