Supporters List Instructions
The "soft launch" of your campaign
When: 5-7 days before your kickoff date
First introduce the fundraising campaign and emphasize your fundraising goal (the why).
Describe in detail with images or video what you will purchase with the funds raised. If the students don't make connection between themselves and your why, it's likely they won't care enough to participate. Second play the InstaRaise Student Video and the Supporters List Video (below) for the students. Finally distribute the attached worksheet (called the supporters list) while communicating an expectation that each student needs to gather 15-20 " quality" contacts. A quality contact includes the name + cell phone + EMAIL of each contact. You will need to emphasize the need for an email address. If the students don't know the contact's email they should send that supporter a text asking them to reply with their email. We will give you a credit on your campaign using the chart below: Supporters list PDF must be physically returned to and held by the teacher to earn credits below. Small team goal charts must be completed and utilized to earn the credits below. Send a photo to info@floridafundraiser.com once you have your team goal chart wall installed! 81% profit - at least 1,000 active contacts (name+phone+email) and $10,000 raised 82% profit - at least 2,000 active contacts (name+phone+email) and $20,000 raised 83% profit - at least 3,000 active contacts (name+phone+email) and $30,000 raised After $40,000 is reached, your group will keep up to 100% of future donations until the anniversary of this campaign. Your group will also earn 50% of all products from that point on as well. Campaign ID and Custom Info Be sure to communicate to the students what your campaign ID is. Or write it in on the PDF before you make the copies. Be sure to write in the due dates and the number of supporters you're expecting your students to seek. Setting your group goal for quality contacts with email. How many email addresses do we need to reach our fundraising goal? Here's the math. Determine how much money you need to fund your project or goal. Divide that goal by 12 and that result will be the approximate number of quality contacts you will need from your students to hit that goal. NOTE: The highest profit checks are going to the teachers who can really dig in on 20-25 contacts + email before the kickoff date. |
